Smart Labour on Service M8

One of the many self employed challenges is ensuring that you are charging your client correctly for the time spent on the job.


Amplifying the problem is when your business consists of multiple field staff (service technicians) and you don't know how much time they are each spending on each job site.


Your may have clients complaining that the staff member wasn't on the job site as long as what you may have thought, and / or you have staff spending hours on a job site that you cannot charge for.


Service M8 has a feature called smart labour. Assuming your staff member checks in and out of each job (on the app), you are able to pick up their hours on site and charge t


his time out to the client seamlessly.


You can edit the time, (if you need to allow for training or incidental tasks) and can even round up the time to the nearest 15min, 30 minute or 1 hour, so that you don't miss out on a full service call when the job was only small.
